Wild man, party animal and cocaine addict “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer advertised and operated a wrestling school out of his home. In fact, his wrestling school was nothing more than a scam.
Buzz Sawyer lured his students to his place, collected the Money and tried to injure them on the very first day. If a student came back for another training session, Sawyer would ask for even more Money then wouldn’t show up for half of the scheduled sessions or disappear for good while leaving the territory.
The Undertaker (Mark Calaway) was his most famous scammed student.
Buzz Sawyer died of a cocaine inducted heart attack at the age of only 32 years old despite looking like 45.
