WWE released a bunch of wrestlers and staff thanks to Coronavirus. It was about time that the WWE throw away some dead weight. 

ON-SCREEN TALENT

• Drake Maverick. Nobodies crying!
• Curt Hawkins. Good jobber who should have been used more often.
• Zack Ryder. Good jobber who should have been used more often.
• Heath Slater. Good jobber who should have been used more often.
• Luke Gallows. They were misused anyway!
• Karl Anderson. They were misused anyway!
• Rusev. Why? He was great as Rusev Day before they scrapped his gimmick! It doesn’t smell good for his real-life marriage with Lana…
• No Way Jose. Good jobber who should have been used more often. I liked his gimmick!
• Sarah Logan. Boff! Not a big lost!
• Mike Kanellis. It was about time!
• Maria Kanellis. It was about time!
• Aiden English. Was great as Rusev’s lackey/singer.
• EC3. Should have return in NXT where he could have been a major player.
• Lio Rush. Was very good as an annoying manager that you love to hate.
• Eric Young. Boff! Should have remain in NXT.
• Primo Colon. It was about fuckin’ time that somebody wake up and fire him!!
• Epico Colon. It was about fuckin’ time that somebody wake up and fire him!!
• Erick Rowan. Nothing to say!.. A good generic big man.
• Deonna Purrazzo (NXT)
• Aleksandar Jaksic (NXT)
• MJ Jenkins (NXT)
• Josiah Williams (NXT)
• Dorian Mak (NXT)
• Mike Chioda (Referee)

Many of them were completely misused or not used at all.


What about Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel? They were probably spared because of their family names.

Backstage producers were furloughed, not fired.


Hundreds more backstage employees were released by the WWE. It’s sad that all these people are losing their jobs but it was unavoidable due to the crisis that’s going on currently. 


After years of overpaying unused wrestlers (Primo, Epico, Mike Kanellis, JTG in the past, etc) to stay home. It was time for a change.
